TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment
Work is charged from base to base, and on an hourly rate in the local area. Payment is required in full on date of removal, in cash, or by cheque with current bank card, made payable to Mr J Malarek.
Distance removals charges should be paid a few days before the removal date to allow for cheques to clear.
Bookings
Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis, and will only be treated as firm when names, addresses, and a removal date are given.
Packing Boxes
Delivered outside Worksop - £10 per hour base to base + price per box.
Collected by customer - price per box.
Storage
Payment for removal of goods, and first month’s storage, is due on day of removal.
Payment for storage is due monthly in advance.
Full and final payment for storage and transport, is due on the day goods are returned from storage to customer.
Waiting time
Waiting time at a customer's new or old address, for keys, money transfer, other removals etc will be charged at standard hourly rate.
Pets
Arrangements for transport of pets are customer’s responsibility.
General
Although we always take great care of all items, we suggest that our customers have their own insurance cover, to take into account their need to pack, unpack and reposition items, before, during and after the removal. Dismantling of furniture i.e. wardrobes, tables or beds and disconnection, reconnection of electrical, gas or plumbed items is the responsibility of the customer. We accept no responsibility for furniture or fittings that we are requested to, or need to disassemble or disconnect during the course of a removal.
Glassware, light fittings, ornaments, pictures, mirrors and other fragile objects, should be carefully packed and marked; boxes should be closed for safety and stacking.
Transport of flammable materials and gas cylinders for fires, welding, petrol movers etc, invalidates insurance.
Floor coverings will be protected from wet or dirty conditions with dust sheets or other suitable coverings. Removal operatives will not remove footwear.
Our responsibility for customers’ goods ceases on completion of works.
